Kari (Curry) a blend of spices that changes from region to region and house to house, dates back to Mesopotamia in 1700 BC. This recipe uses whole spices to infuse deep earthy and savory flavors to compliment the spicy Indian Chili Powder and Jalapenos. Serve it with a Raita (Yogurt sauce) to cool the palate.

The Basic Cooking Technique - the Culinary Spice Kit comes with detailed cooking instructions on the back, but here’s to basics.

An easy one pot stew. Brown the meat/vegetables, cook the onions, garlic and ginger down to a thick paste. Add the chilies, stock and return chicken/vegetables to the pot and cook until done.  Finish with heavy cream and enjoy!
